I gravitated to the Bright Force serum most, due to the restorative benefits of niacinamide and tranexamic acid. If you’re struggling with rough skin and uneven patches (and even acne breakouts), niacinamide is a wonderful addition to your routine. What makes this serum different is that it is carefully designed to work well with sensitive (and easily irritated skin), delivering the benefits of niacinamide in a soothing format. 

So, does Abib’s new niacinamide serum stand up well compared to other formulas in K-beauty? Let’s put it to the test to see the before-and-after of the new Bright Force Serum. 

Niacinamide: brightening vitamin B3 that helps enhance skin glow and reduce appearance of dark spots, for more refined, clearer and glassy skin texture. 

Tranexamic acid: a powerful extract that helps improve skin circulation, restoring function and helping reduce appearance of acne spots, dark spots and uneven textures. 

Alpha-Arbutin: helps reduce UV-damage to skin, improve skin softness and create a smoother, plumper texture (by inhibiting tyrosine and stimulating collagen production). 

Panthenol: soothing vitamin B5 is a healing agent for sensitive and dry, damaged skin. It helps restore texture and balance oils for refreshed skin. 

Bisabolol: deeply soothing agent extracted from chamomile flower, designed to cool redness and irritation and bringing deep refreshment to the skin barrier. 

Chorella vulgaris extract: is a microalgae that helps stimulate collagen production in the skin, smooth texture and gently enhance moisture for brighter, refreshed skin appearance. 

Fructose/Glucose: simple sugars that help support and strengthen the collagen and elastin deep in the dermis, helping smooth fine lines and improve skin hydration.

This serum is designed for sensitive skin, allowing for gentle (but powerful) improvement of uneven skin textures (especially in oily skin with blemishes). It’s not well suited for dry skin types (as it’s likely not to be hydrating enough) or for fine lines (there are better serums specifically to tackle these). 

It’s best suited to sensitive, oily skin and acne-prone skin to help improve texture whilst creating a balanced and glassy finish. 

This rich, lightweight serum is incredibly soothing and refreshing to sensitive skin types. I have sensitive skin (that breaks out to anything new), so trying a new product is always nerve-wracking. But Abib has an ingredient choice that is always subtle, thoughtful and works well together. I added this serum to both my AM/PM routine to show results quicker as well as due to its gentle nature allowing it.

I was struggling with irritation and a recent acne outbreak that was just not clearing up! This serum, along with a gentle toner and moisturizer became my AM/PM routine - to allow the ingredients to shine (and see if it would deliver true results).

You can see the benefits with just two weeks of using. It helped clear up active acne lesions and rapidly improved healing, helping clear and brighten the skin around older scars. It was incredibly beneficial for how gentle and refreshing the serum was - making this a fantastic alterative for those who want the benefits of niacinamide without any niacinamide ‘burn.’ It's a thicker serum, which delivers gentle hydration and helps keep skin glowing and clear.
