It sounds perfect for a break-out, so lets put it to the active test to see how perfect it is.

The toner pads contain 60 pads soaked carefully in exfoliating toner, rich in natural plant extracts.

Who Should Avoid?
If you already have a routine rich in exfoliants and BHA, take care using an additional exfoliant such as this as it can dry out and irritate skin. These pads are ideal for oily and combination skin to bring balance and not likely to benefit dry skin types (unless you are looking to exfoliate flaky or peeling skin). Otherwise, these pads are formulated to be gentle and calming and are safe for sensitive skin types.
The Results
Another day, another break-out due to the weather changing. Acne is a life-long struggle and I was looking for another tool in the box to help calm and refresh my skin barrier. I’ve used toning pads before – but not specifically for acne and this formula seemed perfectly calming, hydrating and soothing. I have an oily skin type that requires deep cleansing (normally a double cleansing routine), so I used a simple foam cleanser before moving onto these toning pads.
Compared to previous toning pads, these ones felt a little dry (don’t forget to tip upside down a few minutes before using to maximize the toner in the container). They come with one patterned side and one smooth side, allowing you to gently flip to exfoliate. I used one pad for either side of my face and found it perfectly refreshed my oily skin, calmed general redness and my skin was delightfully soft after (sign of a good exfoliator).
I conducted a ‘10 minute mask’ test – where I placed a toner pad on each cheek (where I have the most acne) and gently left for 10 minutes to see the effect. It didn’t do anything dramatic (like cure my acne in 10 minutes), but there was an immediate cooling and soothing effect – which I loved.
With the soft salicylic acid blended with gentle flower extracts, this toning pad helped calm my skin barrier in just 10 minutes and helped me feel deeply refreshed. It was not deeply hydrating like other toners (I would even recommend following with another toner to boost moisture) - but if you are looking for a calming acne treatment, this is a perfect addition.
