Deep Hydration for Radiance | Heveblue Black Yuja Bean Lifting Auto Eye Cream Review

Looking to take your eyecare to the next level? How about a protein-rich, citrusy eye cream that boosts vitamin C, whilst coming with its own in-built massager? Sounds too good to be true? We thought so – so we immediately spent our budget on the HeveBlue Auto Eye Cream. Let’s discover the results together!

Heveblue Black Yuja Bean Lifting Auto Eye Cream Honest Review

Heveblue is a nature-inspired brand that is named from the French ‘Rêve Bleu’ meaning ‘clear, pure dream.’ It is their desire to create products that are your personal ‘skincare dream’ which are sensitive-skin friendly, come in an eco-friendly, recycled packaging and strictly stick to safe ingredients. They hit highs with their Salmon Caring range with salmon roe and soothing, hydrating centella asciatica and have boosted skincare with their brightening Black Yuja skincare.

But their Auto Eye Cream is their crown jewel – 42% Yuja extract blended with black bean to balance oils on the skin, as well as plumping amino acids for lasting cell repair all with an applicator that provides 12000/min soundwaves to massage and stimulate skin cell repair and plumping. It’s one of the most exciting, sensitive-skin friendly eye creams in K-Beauty right now – so does it stack up to the hype?

What's in the Bottle?

Yuja water (42%): rich in Vitamin C and skin lifting antioxidants, Yuja helps refresh skin texture and boost natural radiance, while helping lift dark undereye shadows.

Black Soybean Extract: rich in amino acids to plump and nourish skin cells, boosting natural elasticity and lifting fine lines.

Mung bean extract: moisturizes skin barrier, whilst softening skin texture for lighter, clearer skin.

Blue Omija Bio Ferm: a patented, secret ingredient made of fermented mugwort to hydrate, cool and refresh skin for deep moisture.

Plant-Based Collagen: Low-molecular weight mimic of collagen that helps boost hydration and natural skin volume for fuller eye appearance.

Amino acids: rich peptides from various bean sources that boost natural skin firmness and elasticity to lift fine lines and improve cell repair.

Lactobacillus ferment: probiotics to help strengthen skin microbiome for better balance and improved health.

Niacinamide: brightening vitamin B3 that helps lift dark spots and even skin tone, to leave a lasting glow.

Panthenol: soothing and nourishing vitamin B5 that helps protect skin barrier and promote lasting hydration.

Who Should Avoid?

This eye cream was formulated for sensitive skin and also to help balance both dry and oily skin types. It’s well suited for most all users – although take care on using the massager on dry, broken or irritated skin. Avoid using if you have red skin around your eye, dry or broken skin barrier (although it’s a gentle formulation, you should give your skin time to heal before applying).

The Results

I have natural under eye shadows and am at the age where stress lines are starting to appear – so a good eye cream is a must. This eye cream is a lightweight, citrus formula that goes on gently, has absolutely no irritation or fragrance and slowly absorbs to firm skin. The yuja base makes it super delightful to use and it is a rich and soft texture. The massager is the real hero of the purchase – it automatically starts vibrating when it comes into contact with skin and can be used gently across your forehead, smile lines and (of course) your under-eye to provide a minute of deep peace.

The tip is ceramic and cooling and instantly you can see the hydration boost the cream gives you. The cream is a really lovely, sensitive friendly eye cream – and once it runs out, the applicator can be transferred to any similar eye cream! This is what makes this purchase of a nice, lightweight eye cream into something legendary – as I found it compatible with a variety of similar tubes, upping my eyecare game across the board!

I’ve been using the applicator for a month and it shows no sign of slowing down (although I have no idea how long the battery lasts) and its become a part of my nightly routine. If you are curious about trying out the Heveblue eye cream, I recommend the Auto one for sure – just due to the applicator.

Here is the before and after of 1 month use. You can see the improved hydration and refreshed appearance – as well as improved firmness.

Final Thoughts

If you are looking for a gentle, yet hydrating under-eye cream - this is a perfect alternative to more aggressive retinol or spicule formulas. With the massager boosting natural collagen and cooling eye bags, this cream is a fun way to boost your eye appearance only using natural proteins and citrus extracts.
