Does the Dr Althea 345 Barrier Cream Work? 
There’s a reason the 345 Barrier cream rose to immediate fame and that’s due to its holistic care of damaged skin. Repeated outbreaks of acne leads to a compromised skin microbiome – which is vulnerable to repeated infection, breakouts and further damage and sometimes your skin needs a strong reset. For many, the 345 Barrier cream provides that – with nourishing triglycerides to enhance moisture, healing vitamins and a variety of botanical extracts that carefully balance skin health and immunity, whilst reducing acne outbreaks. The only downside is having over 20 botanical extracts is that some may be sensitive or allergic to one of them – which limits 345 Barrier Cream use in some people. For the majority, however, the 345 cream is a perfect soothing solution to compromised skin. 

Does the 345 Barrier Cream cause purging? 
The 345 Barrier cream should not exacerbate or cause an acne breakout – this is a sign the cream is not compatible with your skin. It’s designed with lightweight ingredients that should never be occlusive or cause irritation; so if you are noting increased redness, irritation or spots – the cream is not working with your skin type. It could be your skin is sensitive to one of the many botanical extracts in the cream or the cream is not working with the other products in your skincare routine (i.e. such as other moisturizers, high-exfoliation or retinol products).
