Axis Y Triple PDRN Barrier Boost Serum Review - Golden Care

Axis-Y has been a long-time favourite for natural and soothing formulas that solidy a permanent spot in the routine. They only release a very select catalogue and listen carefully to feedback, to ensure their products are timely and deliberate. So, I was wholly unprepared for the sparkly, golden and shiny release from them - mapping all the trends and delivering a decadent-looking product.

Not only does this delicate serum have golden, ✨sparkly✨ peptide threads wound through, it is infused with NAD+ healing enzymes, vegan PDRN (extracted from a trio of fresh berries) and Cica exosomes for deep, lasting hydration. For a vegan serum, it's incredibly indulgent and trendy - which is such a treat from Axis Y (who typically stabilises their user base on reliable and tried-and-true formulas).

Niacinamide: classic Korean beauty ingredient, vitamin B3 that helps reduce appearance of dark spots and even textures for a gentle glow.   

Trehalose: deep hydrating agent that helps reduce fine line formation, preventing degradation of collagen and stimulating skin barrier repair. 

PDRN (extracted from berries): DNA extracted fragment that helps stimulate healing of skin cells, enhance energy resources and reduce acne scarring via collagen remodeling.  

Adenosine: powerful, hydrating molecule that stimulates collagen production, enhances the natural skin barrier function and helps produce dewy, elastic skin texture. 

Panthenol: hydrating vitamin B5 that helps draw moisture deeper into your skin, reduces redness and inflammation and stores healthy fats for plumper skin. 

Clover extract: soothing extract that helps boost skin’s healing, improves cell thickness so can improve cell barrier function and fine lines.

This gentle vegan serum is designed for sensitive skin and fine lines alike (a delicate balance to follow). You would struggle to find something irritating in this delicate serum, but do avoid it if there is anything within it that your skin is sensitive to!

I have sensitive skin with fine lines and am always excited to try out the next skincare treatment to boost and glow. This serum is infused with one of my favourites (peptides to stimulate collagen and hydration) as well as the newer NAD+ enzyme, designed to enhance your skin cell energy. 

I added it to my AM/PM routine to test out the benefits and enhance the results (as more gentle serums take longer to give results). The golden threads instantly melt into your skin as they warm and it leaves a gentle glow to your skin. It's delicate, nourishing and deeply hydrating.

This delicate serum is incredibly hydrating and simply a routine on it's own! I tested it originally with my routine and it hydrated and soothed my skin so much, I had to stop the rest of my routine just to confirm that it was the serum on its own. Instant hydration, soothing of red spots and blurring of pores - it's an all-round hydrating and restoring serum that's suited for a variety of skin types.

In two weeks of use, you can see the improvement to skin hydration and glow, reducing in red spots and irritation and general radiance of skin. It's formula is incredibly gentle, yet luscious and it is absolutely ideal to calm, soothe and hydrate damaged, dry or irritated skin.

This serum is an amazing addition to any routine looking for that boost to hydration and radiance. It can be used AM and PM and is compatible with a wide variety of skin treatments. I would 100% recommend post irritating skin treatments or sunburn, when you need something incredibly soothing and hydrating. It's a perfect summertime serum ☀️
