How Do You Care For Fine Hair?
Fine hair can often become thin, easily damaged and requires a gentle touch for daily care. Avoid using damaging shampoo and irritating hair treatments – instead use a light, sulfate-free shampoo and only wash three times weekly. Use light products for volume and avoid weighing down your hair and avoid using conditioner directly on your scalp to avoid flattening your hair from the top. Use dry shampoo to absorb excess oils on non-washing days and brush gently and blow dry for extra volume.
How Do You Care for Curly Hair?
Curly hair needs to be kept carefully to preserve curl pattern, so avoid over-washing, use a satin cover when sleeping. Pick a hydrating shampoo (hyaluronic acid or ceramides are a good pick) and only wash 2-3 times weekly. Whilst in the shower, gently detangle hair with a comb (never brush through dry hair to avoid frizz and damage), then use a good conditioner to seal hair strands. Hydration and gentle hands are key for good, shiny curls. Once out of the shower, gently squeeze excess water out of hair (avoid rubbing or creating friction). Then add a pump of curling cream to your hands and gently ‘scrunch’ ends of hair to separate locks for curling. Either diffuse or leave to air dry.

Hair loss is a complex process and it's important to ensure it's not due to medical reasons (such as hormones, a vitamin deficiency etc.) Avoid damaging treatments to hair; such as coloring, heat treatments or tight hair styling and rough combs. Add products to your routine that help stimulate hair; such as minoxidil, rosemary, caffeine, gentle exfoliants and menthol. Be gentle when styling your hair, wear a hat to protect your scalp and ensure you are not causing unexpected damage to your hair.
