Does the Anua Pore Control Cleansing Oil Cause Breakouts? 
The Pore Control Cleansing Oil is designed to be acne-safe, but it should always be used in a double cleansing routine for oily and acne-prone skin. Oil-based cleansers are designed to deeply absorb into pores and help draw out oil build-up to help wash away blackheads and sebum build-up. They are highly successful, but skin still requires a deeper foam cleanse to remove all the excess oils. If you have acne-prone, combination or oily skin – always use an oil cleanser first on dry skin, then immediately follow with a gentle foam cleanser for a perfect clean every time. 

Is Anua Safe for Sensitive Skin? 
Yes, Anua is specifically designed to improve, cleanse and refresh sensitive skin. All their products, even with actives, has been carefully designed to produce great results without being irritating or causing inflammation. All Anua products are EWG Green grade certified, gentle and effective for sensitive skin types. 

Is Anua Worth the Hype? 
Anua has had a vigorous marketing campaign on social media and been promoted by a variety of influencers – which can muddy the waters on whether or not it works. Anua is genuinely a high-quality skincare brand that caters towards sensitive skin, but obviously will not work for all skin types. Their rice/ceramide skin line is great for hydration, their heartleaf is great for irritation and redness and their treatment serums are great to tackle their specific issues with minimal irritation. 

The biggest complaint about Anua is users noting no changes – its vital to remember it's designed for sensitive skin. It's not going to create quick, exciting changes for other skin types, as it is gentle by design. If you are after rapid changes to oily skin, fine lines and dark spots – Anua is less likely to be compatible.
