What is My Skin Type?
Skin type is a broad category to help find you products that are most compatible for your individual skin. It's not a perfect system - but can help you find more successful skincare.

Dry skin often feels tight, has flaking and will have you reaching more for moisturizer.
Oily skin often has large pores, a light sheen to skin and your face will often feel oily when you touch it (especially at the end of the day).
Combination skin is often a mixture of the two (experiencing patches of dry skin and oily zones).

How Do I Avoid Wrinkles?
Aging skincare is some of the most popular - as we are all self-conscious about how we age. The best tips are to use a good quality sunscreen everyday - as UV damage is the quickest cause of fine lines. Also use a compatible moisturizer at the end of the day to keep skin hydrated. There's a variety of skincare ingredients that can help boost fine lines and keep skin looking glamorous and radiant. Check out our list here.

What Order Do I Apply Skincare?
The general rule of thumb for skincare is to start with thinnest products and work your way up to thicker products. Start with a good quality cleanser and dry well for a clean face. From there - start with your lightest products and increase thickness:

Toner → Serum → Essence → Ampoule → Moisturizer → Sunscreen.

You don't need to use all of the above at all (sometimes a minimalist routine is the best!), but if you are looking at a full Korean routine; this is a good guide to follow.

How Do I Treat Acne?
Acne can be a frustrating skin condition that affects up to 80% of adults. It's important to pick a good cleanser to help reduce excess oils on skin and combat bacteria, followed by a light serum and acne-friendly moisturizer. Be sure to pick good ingredients that will help reduce red spots and breakouts - such as AHA/BHA, azelaic acid, teatree extract, niacinamide, retinol or vitamin C).

How Long Until Skincare Shows Results?
It can be a waiting game to see good improvement with skincare products. The ‘skin cycle’ is 6 weeks - meaning that it takes that long for old skin cells to be shed and reveal changes from skincare products.

This means that when you start a new skincare routine or treatment (such as AHA/BHA, retinol, vitamin C or azelaic acid), you will likely have to wait to see true results for 6 weeks.
